Venison Meat Pie


Ground venison -1 lb, one onion, 2 clovesoff garlic, 2 peppers, 1 cup of red wine, pie crust, queso blanco

Brown meat with peppers, onion, garlic.  Add wine, cover and cook for 30minutes.  Place in crust, top with crumbled cheese and pie crust.  


Spoon of mayo, spoon of sour cream, handful of dried dill, dash of apple cider vinegar, dash of hot sauce, salt to taste-mix together. 

Bake pie at 350 for 30minutes.  Serve with sauce.  

This was done on the fly with what I had available.  Measurements are not exact.  Time was gone in between milking goats.  We served with a side of Swiss chard was wonderful. 

Queso blanco is a really simple goat cheese made with milk and lemon.
